Hobart Clinic: registration nearly finalised on your agreement

Nursing

We’ve received an update from the Fair Work Commission regarding the registration of your agreement and backpay.

The Commission have told us that your employer has been required to provide undertakings regarding a few of the agreement clauses to ensure that all aspects of the agreement are better than the Nurses Award, and this process has slowed things down a bit in terms of getting your agreement registered.

It’s our understanding that these undertakings have now wrapped up, and we’re hopeful that the agreement can be finalised and registered within a week or so – but we’ll keep you in the loop either way.

Once the agreement is registered, the normal process is that you’d receive your backpay in the first full pay period after the date of agreement registration.

We’re keen to get this process over with so you can get your well-earned backpay and so we can focus on fixing the other issues at work.

If you’ve got any questions in the meantime about your new agreement or if there’s anything else you’d like to talk to us about, feel free to send us an email on [email protected] or call us on 1300 880 032.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email [email protected] or complete our online contact form
